Eastside Solo and Ensemble performances qualify students for state

The Mercer Island High School band students had 27 winners and alternates in 16 categories at the regional Eastshore Solo and Ensemble festival held Saturday, Jan. 20 at Bellevue College. The winners qualify to compete at the WIAA/WMEA State Solo and Ensemble Contest in Ellensburg April 27 and 28.
