Adair is a professor of Computer Science and the Thomas J. Bannan chair of Engineering and Computer Science at Seattle University, where she has taught for over 12 years. Active interests at Seattle University include software design for efficient use of memory, the design and effects of computer games, curricula development and mentoring undergraduates. Prior experience includes software development in industry as well as teaching in Pennsylvania. Adair is also an avid swimmer. Her four children attend University of Washington, Mercer Island High School, Islander Middle School and West Mercer Elementary.
