Lucy Dorer Bio

Lucy Dorer has attended Mercer Island schools since she started kindergarten at Lakeridge Elementary. Her older sister graduated from Mercer Island High School in 2023. Lucy is excited to give back to the district that has served her for so many years.

Lucy is part of the debate team and competes in public forum debate and extemporaneous speaking, which has given her a passion for public speaking and politics. Her favorite subjects are history and English.  

Outside of school, Lucy races bikes and volunteers at the Jerry Baker Memorial Velodrome. She also enjoys reading, spending time with family and friends, and hiking. Lucy looks forward to amplifying student voice and improving student wellbeing throughout our district!
