Elementary Summer School 2026

MISD continues to research and align its academic-year curriculum with potential summer programming designed to support and enrich student learning. After careful consideration and in alignment with our current fiscal and academic priorities, we have determined that Elementary Summer School will not be offered in 2026.

We partner with the Mercer Island Community Center and Innovation Learning to provide learning opportunities in our community. Our website also includes many resources and recommendations for summer learning, such as Island Books, Mercer Island Youth and Family Services as well as the King County Library.
