The district works to maximize efficiency while maintaining safe, comfortable learning environments for students and staff. These conservation efforts not only help reduce operational expenses but also support environmental sustainability, ensuring that more resources can be directed toward student learning and educational programs.

What do these efforts look like? 

• District wide Utility Shutdown checklist during the summer, winter break, mid-winter break, and spring break. 
• Closer monitoring of building automation programs, such as when boilers start and stop.
• Technology upgrades to building HVAC systems. 
• LED lighting upgrade throughout the District. 
• Energy efficient boilers in schools.
• Energy efficient hot water heaters in schools.
