Welcome to Mercer Island School District Benefits!
Health Benefits through SEBB
Employees of Washington's public school districts receive their health and other insurance benefits through the School Employee Benefits Board, referred to as the SEBB Program. The HR department will provide you a worksheet informing you of eligibility and how to enroll in the state's programs using Benefits 24/7. If you do not enroll, your selections will default to basic covereage so it is important that you take action within 30 days of your eligibility start date.
SEBB offers the following plans:
- Managed-care and preferred-provider medical plans
- Two managed-care dental plans
- One preferred-provider dental plan
- Three different group vision plans
- Life and accidental death and dismemberment (AD&D) insurance
- Long-term disability insurance
- Flexible spending arrangement (FSA)
- Limited Purpose Flexible Spending Account (LPFSA)
- Dependent Care Assistance Program (DCAP)
