MISD Looking For Feedback From Parents on Summer School and PE
Mercer Island, WA, March 12, 2024 – The Mercer Island School District is looking for feedback from parents on MIHS summer school and on middle school and high school physical education classes.
We are asking sixth through twelfth grade parents to complete a short PE Survey.
We are asking eighth through twelfth grade parents to complete a short Summer School Survey.

Surveys will be sent to students through Schoology on summer school and PE. The surveys linked above should be completed by MIHS and IMS parents.

The National PTA’s Reflections program has once again inspired students from pre-K to grade 12 in Mercer Island School District to explore their thoughts, feelings, and ideas through original artwork. This year’s theme, "Accepting Imperfection," challenged young artists to embrace flaws and express their creativity in unique ways.
Superintendent Dr. Fred Rundle and Executive Director of Finance and Operations Matt Sullivan hosted a MISD Budget community webinar on Thursday, January 9.
All four Mercer Island School District Elementary Schools will be hosting school tours on Wednesday, February 26 and Friday, March 28. The tours will take place from 10am-11am.
Late yesterday evening, individuals trespassed onto the Islander Middle School (IMS) grounds and defaced numerous windows and exterior walls with antisemitic and racist symbols and phrases.
This abhorrent act of hate is not only a violation of our community’s shared values, but an attack on the principles of inclusion, respect, and safety that we work every day to uphold in our community.
