MIHS Summer School

We are preparing for an exciting learning and enrichment experience for our high school students this summer.

The MIHS Summer School Program is a tuition-based service of the Mercer Island School District. This summer, MIHS Summer School will be held in-person as weekly meetings or daily classes depending on the courses.

A student must be in the Class of 2024, 2025, 2026, 2027, or 2028 to participate in Summer School 2024. Priority is given first to graduating seniors, then to incoming seniors. Summer School is intended to close learning gaps and provide opportunities for students to earn credits necessary for graduation. Summer School is not intended for students to “get ahead”.

We will be holding an information meeting on April 23 at MIHS, prior to the start of registration (May 1st), to answer any questions you have about Summer School.  The presentation from the information meeting is posted below.  Registration opens on May 1. All information and registration links will be available within the MIHS Summer School Catalog.
