I love teaching PE and love guiding students as they learn to work collaboratively while developing their skills, knowledge, and confidence! Physical education is a unique environment where students not only learn how to move their bodies and manipulate objects, they also learn about physical and mental health and life skills such as cooperation and perseverance ---all while growing new brain cells!
This is my 17th year teaching physical education and 21st year teaching at Lakeridge. I am a third generation Lindquist to teach at Lakeridge. My grandmother taught here, my mother taught here, and now I proudly continue the tradition.
I live in Seattle with my husband and teenage daughter. In addition to teaching PE, I love outdoor activities such as hiking, waterskiing, and swimming. I also enjoy slightly obscure games such as bocce, pickleball, and kubb. Nothing brings me greater joy than dancing. My newest hobby is kayaking!
My office is located in the multipurpose room should you ever need to find me.
