MIHS students have access to a variety of online courses to meet individual needs and expand learning opportunities. A variety of courses are available through Fuel Education, APEX Learning and Spokane Virtual Learning, which will be published on the Crest website. Students primarily take online courses to alleviate scheduling issues, access courses not available at the school and to make up failed courses. In order to qualify for an Online Course option, students must have a free period in their day. Students should anticipate spending a minimum of one hour each school day working independently on their course and must meet with a Crest teacher at least once per week. The ideal student is a self-starter who can work independently. Students must apply for online courses through the Counseling Center. Applications can be found in the Counseling Center and both the MIHS and Crest websites.
