Volunteer In Our Schools

Thank you for your interest in volunteering for the Mercer Island School District. Volunteers provide a valuable service to our schools and the District appreciates the time, talent, commitment, and energy given by all volunteers. 

All volunteers are required to go through a volunteer training process. This process includes:

    Watching MISD Volunteer Training Video

    Reviewing Volunteer Handbook

Complete and return, if applicable, the following to any one of the school offices:

    WSP Background Check Form

    Volunteer Questionnaire (to be completed after watching the video)

    Volunteer Confidentiality Agreement

    Volunteer Release

If you are unable to print these forms, please contact the front office at the school where you would like to volunteer.

If you are volunteering to chaperone a Field Trip only, please navigate to our Field Trip - Volunteer Chaperone page. 

Note: Each year, volunteers need to complete each of the above only once.
