    q Reading--Read a book of your choice (15-20 minutes) 

    q Spelling--use the Look, Say, Cover, Write, Check technique to write each word at least 3 times each

    q Writing— Write a short 3 paragraph paper about structures of plants—include a summary of what you know about the roots, stems, and leaves. You should also add one question about each structure(15-20 minutes)

    q School Talk (Make sure your parents sign the school talk form so they know what we’re doing in school :-)

     

     

    TUESDAY NIGHT 

    q Reading--Read a book of your choice (15-20 minutes)

    q Writing— Write one paragraph about photosynthesis—what is it and how does it work? (10 minutes)

    q Math—play on Freckle for 10 minutes (10 minutes)

    q School Talk (Make sure your parents sign the school talk form!)

        

     

    WEDNESDAY NIGHT 

    q Reading--Read a book of your choice (15-20 minutes)

    q Spelling/Vocabulary-- choose 1 activity from the mid-week spelling menu and use it with ALL WORDS

    q Writing—write one paragraph describing the experiment we did with the celery plant today. Include details about how we set up the experiment and what you noticed.  (10-15 minutes)

    q Keyboarding—Work on one lesson on Typing Agent (10 minutes)

    Dear Parents, this is a tool we use in order to keep you more informed about what your child is doing at school. Each day students are expected to write down a short note about 3 things that happened at school that day (this can be something they learned, a subject they are exploring, who they played with at recess and how that went, something they found exciting/frustrating/etc.)
