About Mrs. Hersey
I have taught Spanish for the past four years at West Mercer. This will be my first year teaching 3rd Grade Higly Capable, and I could not be more excited! In 2015, I graduated from Washington State University with a Bachelors in Psychology and two minors, one in Human Development and another in Spanish. In 2016, I graduated from Washington State University with a Masters in Teaching and a certificate in K-8 education.
Beyond my passion for education, I am a wife, dog mom to a sweet red labrador named Rogue, die hard WSU Cougar, a book worm, runner/crossfitter/yogi, life-long believer in Disney magic, and world-traveler. I have lived southeast of Seattle for most of my life, thus I love being around water, and finding any excuse to grab a cup coffee.
