Classroom Expectations

  • We will begin the school year by establishing and practicing classroom routines and expectations.  This includes how to use the appropriate technology, keeping track of assignments, Zoom expectations, etc.  Teaching these routines and expectations will help students become more independent as the year progresses.  Students will discuss behaviors that show the “Wolf Way.”  Showing the “Wolf Way” means being responsible, respectful, and safe.  We will discuss what that behavior looks like in our virtual classroom and how it helps us be good classroom citizens.

  • I believe that communication is crucial in any classroom environment.  In order to keep you up to date, I will be sending home a weekly classroom newsletter via email each week on Fridays.  The newsletter will include upcoming events, classroom news, learning objectives, and an assignment grid for the following week.  Classroom Zoom links and assignment grids will be uploaded in Seesaw as well.  During the first month of school, I will be meeting with each family via Zoom between 12:25-12:45 (office hours).  After the initial meetings are finished, please feel free to contact me to schedule a Zoom conference during the above time.
