Using Google Hangouts to make voice calls
During our school closures, it is important that teachers maintain relationships with students. That may mean calling your students directly on their phones. We encourage staff to not use their personal cell phones to call or text students. Calling students directly from your personal cell phone will provide them with you cell phone number and text messaging is an electronic communication and would become a public record under the Washington State Public Records Act.
