    Clubs

If you're interested in HELPING OUT THE COMMUNITY as well as learning how to code websites and other kinds of software, join Reach Out With Code Club in Mr. Hughes’ Room 408 on Monday Afternoons (NO PRIOR PROGRAMMING EXPERIENCE IS NEEDED). In this club, we will be reaching out to various non-profit organizations to see if they are interested in receiving our help, which will come in the form of building websites, creating promotional material, and more. We will be both collaborating with various organizations and providing a SAFE COMMUNITY FOR PEOPLE TO FREELY PURSUE THEIR PASSION PROJECTS related to STEM: contact abhay.raj@misd400.org or sol.park@misd400.org for details and any questions.

If you are interested in learning math problems outside the general school curriculum and working as a team in a collaborative environment, join Math Club on Friday Mornings at 7 AM in Ms. Yoder’s Room 215 (YOU DO NOT NEED TO BE A MATH GENIUS IN ORDER TO JOIN THE CLUB)! We will mainly be focusing on competitive math, however, we will also be focusing on learning new concepts, as well as helping people throughout the school with math; for example, a passion project we’ll likely be pursuing is creating a school-wide math competition. Make sure to join; there will be snacks; contact Subha, Sol, Muye, or Stella for any additional questions or clarifications.
