• MIHS National Honor Society Appeals Application 2019 

    Deadline: May 3th, 2019 at 8 a.m.

    Should you feel your application merits reconsideration, there is an appeals process. If you would like additional feedback on your application, prior to your appeal application, I will be happy to review the School’s decision with you. To appeal, submit a revised application with a cover letter explaining why you believe your application should be reconsidered.

    How: This application and cover letter must be submitted in hard copy. The online application will not be re-activated, so you will need to use the application instructions available on the NHS website, www.mercerislandschools.org/nhs (Download Application)

    Where: The appeals application is available in the Main Office. Applications must be turned in to the main office.

    Who: Applications must be turned in to the main office. All appeals will be forwarded to Associate Principal Nick Wold, who has the ability to reverse the school’s decision.

    When: The deadline for appeals is Friday May 3 at 8:00AM.

    Note: National Honor Society is only open to incoming juniors and seniors (Classes of 2020 and 2021) with a GPA of 3.5 or higher. If you are a current 9th grader, we encourage you to apply next year. Applicants who were not admitted as sophomores may re-apply as juniors. Previously dismissed members may not re-apply.
