  • Different Learners Review Background

    The Different Learners Program Review reviewed Mercer Island School District’s literacy instruction in order to make recommendations for programmatic changes to address the needs of all learners, including those who struggle to reach and maintain achievement standards. The objective of the review is to determine currently used instructional materials and assessments; provide curricular, assessment and professional development recommendations to improve student learning; and determine prioritization and implementation timelines for the recommendations.
