Dr. Jorgenson has a research and entrepreneurial background. He holds BS, MS and Ph.D. degrees in electrical engineering from the University of Washington and has conducted research in the fields of chemical and biochemical sensing, resulting in a number of scientific publications, patents and commercial ventures. Prior to serving on the school board, Ralph volunteered extensively for the school district, including serving as a Co-Chair of the 2014 School Bond and M&O Levy Campaigns and V.P. of Advocacy for the PTA Council. He and his wife have one child who graduated from and another child who currently attends school in the District. Currently, Dr. Jorgenson is completing a Master’s in Teaching, Mathematics (grades 5-12).
