    2021 Elementary Learning Forward Summer School Information

    We are preparing for an exciting learning and enrichment experience for our elementary students this summer. The lessons from COVID-19 about how we might enhance our previous model make us hopeful this will be the best summer ever!
    Our summer program will be offered in-person only. 

    Learning Forward Summer School

    *Core academic support, reteaching, and intervention
    • June 28 to July 2
    • July 5 to July 9
    • July 12 to July 16

    Daily Schedule:

    • 9:00 am-10:30 am – Literacy
    • 10:30 am-10:45 am – Break
    • 10:45 am-12:15 pm – Mathematics
    Location: Northwood Elementary
          • Parents must pick up their child promptly after the session
          • Parents should provide a snack and water


    Summer school has two sessions each day; literacy and math. Students may be signed up for one or both sessions.
    • Literacy only - $300 per student
    • Math only - $300 per student
    • Both literacy and math - $600 per student

    Students may miss one or more days and still take part in the program. Missing days will, however, impact his/her overall benefit. Additionally, the District does not prorate the cost of participation based on student attendance.


    Social Emotional Learning and Enrichment

    • June 28 to July 2
    • July 5 to July 9
    • July 12 to July 16

    Location: Northwood Elementary

    • This extended learning opportunity aims to support the social and emotional learning of our current Kindergarten through 5th grade students through enrichment such as physical education and movement, music, games, art, and more.
    • The exact schedule and tuition is still being developed.

    Family Extension Options

    Registration and Payment

    Learning Forward Summer School registration will first open to students the District has nominated for services. Pending space availability, the District will open up registration to others


    Making a Payment

    To Pay for summer school, please use the online payment link. The online payment may not be made until the student has been registered after April 12, 2021.
