January 9, 2017 – Mercer Island School District will begin accepting kindergarten registrations for the 2017-18 school year on Wednesday, February 1, 2017. For families seeking information about the district’s kindergarten program and registration process, kindergarten information sessions will be held at each elementary school from 6 to 7 p.m. on Tuesday, January 31.
District staff will be present to answer questions, discuss the kindergarten experience and distribute registration packets. Families who are unable to attend this information night may download a registration packet from the district website beginning Feb. 1 or pick one up at any of the four elementary schools. Additionally, families uncertain about their home school attendance area can find more information by visiting E-Link on the district website or by calling Mary Newcomer at 206-230-6336. Please be advised that this is a parent-oriented event.
