Elementary: MISD is in the process of a multi-year transition to the Common Core State Standards for Mathematics, which will be completed in the 2014-2015 school year. Until that time, students will be taught and assessed using both the above Common Core State Standards for Mathematics and the Washington State Math Standards. Online Report Card Companion Documents
The online report card includes all major subject areas and some descriptors. Due to space limitations, however, it does not provide all of the information that was included in the former report card. In order to offer parents the same level of detail, we have created a companion document for each grade level. The companion document can be read alongside the online report card. The National Eating Disorders Association (NEDA), based in Seattle, has a website packed with state-of-the-art information and a referrals search feature at www.NationalEatingDisorders.org. The NEDA Live Helpline is (800) 931-2237, with hours as follows: Mondays 11am-3pm, Tuesdays 12pm-4pm, Wednesdays 8:30am-3:30pm, and Fridays 8:30am-4:30pm. At all other times you can leave a message and a volunteer will return your call. All calls are confidential and free of charge.
