Principal's Welcome

Dear Northwood Families,

Welcome to March!

As we have emerged from a particularly wet and snowy February, we look forward to the possibility of more Spring-like weather in our near future.  Please continue to encourage your child to wear appropriate clothing for the weather.  We have recess outdoors most days, unless the weather is particularly inclement, and we appreciate your support with this.

Common Core State Standards, Progress Reports, and Smarter Balanced Assessments

Progress Reports for Trimester 2 will be available to parents through Skyward on March 17 at 5:00pm.  Our Progress Reports are designed to provide parents with information about how each child is performing in his/her work toward meeting the Common Core State Standards (CCSS).
